The Cartoon and Humour Museum is one of the museums located in the Gazhane Museum grounds. It details the History of humour in Turkey across different periods.
Humour, and by extension the museum, are vessels for political, social and socio-cultural reflections. All forms of humour from all kinds of authors, young and old, are represented.
The Cartoon and Humour Museum opened with a permanent exhibition titled "Drawings That Keep their Illustrator Alive". It hosts events and workshops encouraging people to experience the "mind-opening" experience of art of drawing.
