Anadolu Hisarı, which was once a defensive structure, is being brought back to Istanbul as a museum, exhibition and cultural area, and library, with the restoration carried out by IMM Heritage teams. It was put into the service of Istanbul residents on October 4th, 2022.
The library is named after Prof. Dr. Feza Gürsey, a universally lauded physician known for his contributions to the field of theoretical physics. The library is also established in memory of Feza Gürsey, who grew up in Anadolu Hisarı. It keeps alive a value represented by science and enlightenment in this historical area.

This library hosts 7,000 works and has a capacity of 70 people in an area of 550 square meters. Reflecting the IMM's goal of making next generation libraries widely available, our library facilitates the region's access to books, information, and culture.
İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür Varlıkları Dairesi Başkanlığı Kütüphaneler ve Müzeler Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı tüm kütüphanelerin yanı sıra Feza Gürsey Kütüphanesi'nin ödünç verme hizmetlerinden tüm bölge sakinleri yararlanabiliyor. Üye olmak isteyen okuyucularımızın TC kimlik kartı, ehliyet, pasaport gibi resmi geçerliliği olan bir kimlik belgesi ile kütüphanelerimize başvurmaları gerekmektedir.
