Evliya Çelebi Library was put into service on January 27th, 2022. Named after the great traveller Evliya Çelebi, the library was designed with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s goals of making next generation libraries widely available and ensuring that they serve as centres of culture, arts and information as well as traditional library services such as rich book collections.
The collection consists of 10.200 works, includes works of genres such as history, literature, political science, philosophy, research and review, art, informatics, technology, science, belief, self-improvement, cultural heritage, architecture and design books, and periodicals. The library serves has a study area with an 120 person capacity as well as a computer laboratory for 3 people located besides the terrace balcony.
Evliya Çelebi Kütüphanesi'nin yanı sıra İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür Varlıkları Dairesi Başkanlığı, Kütüphaneler ve Müzeler Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı diğer tüm kütüphanelerin ödünç verme hizmetlerinden tüm bölge sakinleri yararlanabiliyor. Üye olmak isteyen okuyucularımızın TC kimlik kartı, ehliyet, pasaport gibi resmi geçerliliği olan bir kimlik belgesi ile kütüphanelerimize başvurmaları gerekmektedir.
