Ahmet Kabaklı Library was put into service in 2011 in Hırka-i Şerif Neighborhood in the Fatih district of Istanbul. This library has a total of 33,888 works, notably a private collection of 16,695 works by the author Ahmet Kabaklı.
The collection of Ahmet Kabaklı Library also contains works of many genres such as History, literature, political science, philosophy, research and review, art, informatics, technology, science, religion, self-improvement, cultural heritage, architecture and design books, children's books, and periodicals. The building can provide services to up to 170 people in an area of 600 square meters. Located at a central point in Fatih, the library hosts various events for children, youth, and adults, as in other libraries affiliated to IMM. The library also has a Public and Children's departments which aims to meet the study area needs of the students in the region.
Ahmet Kabaklı Kütüphanesi'nin yanı sıra İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kültür Varlıkları Dairesi Başkanlığı Kütüphaneler ve Müzeler Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı tüm kütüphanelerin ödünç verme hizmetlerinden bölge sakinleri yararlanabiliyor. Üye olmak isteyen okuyucularımızın TC kimlik kartı, ehliyet, pasaport gibi resmi geçerliliği olan bir kimlik belgesi ile kütüphanelerimize başvurmaları gerekmektedir.
