The Mecidiyeköy Lending Library opened on October 21st, 2021, and was the in the IMM’s project to establish Lending Libraries and book stations.
Our library is a part of the transformation of Mecidiyeköy Square, one of the busiest urban spaces of Istanbul, into a culture and art area. It facilitates the access of Istanbul residents to books, hosting a collection of 2,000 books consisting of publications from qualified publishing houses in the fields of literature, art, history, cultural heritage, and research.
